Wild Women Expeditions has always been a QLB-friendly place. Our staff are queer-positive women; and over-all our clientele is about 45% lesbians and bisexual women. We want all women to be comfortable to be themselves here- regardless of sexual orientation.

In addition to having a strong QLB following in regular trips, for several years we have also had a handful of precious ‘LesBi’ trips on offer. These offerings appear below. If you want to register for one please link to our register page and choose the trip with: Private LB.

This season marks our 18th year of operation. We are located outside Sudbury, Ontario, which is a stunning 4 1/2 hours drive from Toronto. Our base is a 230 acre wilderness paradise on a mighty northern river where moose, bear and wolves roam. Our basecamp offers cabins, sauna, cooks and sometimes a massage therapist too! All our spring, summer and fall Ontario adventures start and end from here.

Our trips strive to balance "getting somewhere" with actually "being somewhere". We offer a range of trips to suit your ability level and how much you need to "go for it" or de-stress. Most women register on their own. Most of our participants fall into the 35-55 age range, but we often have women in their 20s to late 70s join us too! We supply all the equipment, meals, a guide, and transport to and from your trip start and end point once you get yourself to our base. A Carpooling Page helps women share rides and the Greyhound bus also gets you very nearby and we swing around to pick you up from the closest gas station.

Our QLB trips attract a combo of single women and coupled women, and sometimes women going through significant transitions: change of career, relationship, coming out, turning 30, 40 or 50... We are a place to celebrate changes and explore old and new passions. What all Wild Women share is a love of the natural world, the company of other women, and an adventurous spirit.
LESBI TRIPS
PADDLING ADVENTURES
For our paddling adventures you bring only a sleeping bag, clothes and personal items. We supply: the services of an experienced and friendly guide; the required permits; all necessary equipment including canoes or kayaks, paddles, lifejackets, packs, tents, transportation from our basecamp to your trip destination, and delicious food!
The first night of every trip is spent at a northern basecamp (usually WWE's), located conveniently close to your trip destination. For all kayaking trips and longer canoe trips (7 nts) the last night is also at a base.
Our Temagami canoe trip is rated one of Canada's Top Ten Adventures!!
Without question, Temagami is one of Canada's most coveted canoe trip destinations. This rugged land offers a large system of inter-connecting lakes and rivers. Our Temagami trips will trace a route established by native peoples over thousands of years. We journey to one of the most beautiful areas in Temagami exploring aquamarine waters, high cliffs, rock paintings, and cascading waterfalls.

Lake Huron's North Channel BY KAYAK
Paddle what sailors consider the most beautiful waters in the world! Enjoy gorgeous rugged islands, stunning sunsets, beaches and clear green waters with the LaCloche mountains to the north.
