Hi Beth,
The upper room reading today was about a waterfall and
I was immediately transported back to last summer when we stopped
at this awesome waterfall on our portage. We sat it in, we lay in
it. We sat under the falls all in different spots and it was beautiful.
Thanks for the memories! You are doing a wonderful thing, although
right now it may be hectic for you! You have enriched many a soul! Sheila from St. Catharines
Beth--how lovely to get all these little treasures in my inbox when
I got home...notes from you and JoAnne, and a note and photos from
Andrea. I really enjoyed the trip too, and so much appreciated the
camaraderie we formed as a group. This was a first for me...signing
up for something I wanted to do without trying to talk someone into
coming with me! It was better this way! I truly enjoyed the whole
adventure--new friendships, the outdoors, your fabulous campfire
meals, the beautiful scenery, the peace of sleeping inside the tent,
knowing the mosquitoes are on the outside!, listening to the loons
unusual midnight conversations across the lake, returning jewellery
to its rightful owner and getting an extra hike out of it, even
the portages, although I grumbled a lot, taught me that sometimes
you just have to dig deeper..... Thanks again for everything,
Judy from Newmarket
Hi Beth and all sister Killarney portaging trippers! Our trip has
gone in a flash! But the memories will go through our mind again
and again long time after the pain in muscles and the itchy bites
stop bothering our bodies. On my way home I enjoyed again and again
the beautiful nature of Central Ontario along Highway 69. I saw
the forest, lakes, rivers and thought: I was there! Thank you Beth
for the trip. I'm so glad you enjoyed our company too. Thank you
Wild Women sisters for support and being reliable, considerate and
enjoyable team! The best wishes to everyone, Take care.
Luda from Toronto
Dear Beth, Our trip in Killarney was fantastic. With Ali at the
helm, we laughed and thoroughly enjoyed canoeing 5 days through
beautiful countryside and majestic scenery. All of us are anxious
to go again next year. We would like to canoe in Temagami which,
I see from your brochure, is a regular destination for Wild Women.
We would very much like to have Ali with us again if at all possible.
Could I provisionally book this time for 2007 and we will confirm
nearer the time as we did this year.
Many thanks, Karen from Nepean
Hello Ms. Beth, It is the final day before I return to the real
world surreal world is more what I call it...The weekend at
your magical land continues t feed me, enveloping me in contentment,
positive energy and optimism. I know there is another world waiting
for me and you have certainly provided more than a little inspiration...
With great respect and lots of positive vibes, Michelle
from Toronto
Beth, if
I had ordered a perfect trip I couldn't have done any better than
this trip. The weather was perfect, the group was fantastic, the
guides were totally awesome, the food was delicious A N D the bog
was dry! It doesn't get much better. The only thing I could ask
for would be a few more days! A 10 day trip - 8 days on the water
would have been great ... Thanks for a wonderful week. I can hardly
wait for August. Jill from Wasaga Beach
Dear Beth - here I am at work with a few minutes to spare and
so much to say!!
Really what I need to say is THANK YOU all so much for the most
amazing holiday experience! I am still mentally and physically cruising
on the energy I got from being there with you all. I have never
felt so cared about and held on a vacation, let alone in my day
to day life I will be in touch further - till then take good care. Sandy from Montreal
Hey Beth: Just wanted to drop you a little note to let you know
how much I enjoyed the trip-it was great. That Maggie is a real
keeper-a fantastic guide and you gotta love anyone that "can
take the piss out of ya"!! The activities, cottages, food and
transportation were more than I anticipated. You definitley brought
your A-game when you put this one together. The group fit well too-a
fun crowd. I have already had contact from Kathleen and I'm still
looking over my shoulder for Wendy.... Seriously, I have always
enjoyed the bike trips but this one was a real adventure! Sue from Ottawa
Dear Beth,
I really feel quite privileged to be a part of such a wonderful
group. Not only has WWE provided me with opportunities for adventures
with other women, it has given me an opportunity to revitalize my
spirit and to honour my wild side.... Your company is nurturing,
empowering and invites others to soar. Thank you for
offering such amazing connections for like-minded women. The bond
is strong and supportive. Francine
from Richmond Hill.
Beth: this card testifies to how much my WWE trip last year continues
to resonate. I didnt realize when I set forth that I would
find myself only only at home with women who , like
myself, were socially, environmentally and politically proactive.
It made for an extremely rare and energizing space where I could
just be. Thanks you for creating that unique potential.
Michelle from Guelph
Dear Beth: it is with delight and awe that I write to celebrate...
the outstanding adventure company you have built. I am confident
to recommend these trips to friends to show up on their own because
I know they will be welcomed and cared for by you and your fabulous
staff. The laughter feeds my soul and the great food fuels the days
journey. Keep it coming! Helene from London
Mazel Tov and Happy Anniversary!! It was your first venture and
mine on the Manitoulin bike tour. And to your credit... it has become
an annual happening. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity
to experience and appreciate what has now become a passion of mine...
You make every expedition interesting and fun. You provide
opportunities to with others who share the same spirit of adventure
and youre most supportive and encouraging. All the best always. Suzie from Buckhorn
Dear Beth,
I cant begin to tell you how much your oasis by the Spanish
River has meant to me. At major transitions in my life, the journeys,
adventures, animals, camaraderie.. have fueled and inspired me to
allow changes to take place. So thats me- just beginning to
put into words my deep appreciation for your efforts and everyone
at WWE. Wendy from Ottawa
Dear Beth,
I feel blessed to have been a part of WWE, and all that it has given
me. Thankfully, you followed your dream, and created an incredible
space for women to find lost parts of themselves, and discover new
and wondrous parts I treasure my memories of ten plus years. Thank
you! Adair from Toronto
To the wildest woman of them all...
Weve only attended one event ( cross-country skiing weekend)
and it was only 2.5 days long, but it made such am impression on
both of us. The outdoors, the indoors, the women, the host, everything
looms large and we probably mention it once a week. Then there was
that time we saw you driving in Guelph freshly arrived from somewhere
on your way to somewhere else, driving along with the biggest grin
on your face ( all alone in the car, mind you). I feel good knowing
that Beth is out there in the world and might ambush me with her
smiles any place, any time. Melanie and Deb from Guelph
Dear Beth,
I ve enjoyed all the trips Ive been on. I appreciate
the opportunity to explore the northern lakes . I love the great
setting with the great guides and knowing everything is taken care
of. My one trip a year sustains me. When I have stress in my life
I think of paddling on the clear water and enjoying the company
of like-minded women. Living in the city you forget about stars,
so thank you for letting me see a galaxy full of them.
Lee and Norma of Windsor
I was missing something in my life, a connection with the outdoors,
nature, water, trees, birds, silence. The sounds and rush of living
in a city had bullied their way into my life so quickly that I didnt
even realize the tranquility... was being slowly pushed out. That
is when I came across Wild Women Expeditions. I had my apprehensions
about going on a trip with a group of women I had never met, but
Beth's kindness and famous calm voice helped me feel comfortable.
And so now... more than ten years later I have been on more trips
that I can count, but still not enough....and I have more happy
memories and laugh lines to be thankful for. Michelle

Beth
Just a note to say hi and thanks for sharing your heart and home
with us at Wild Women in Training camp. I had more time to relax
than I've had in recent memory and that was a welcome surprise.
I think Casey's comment to me on the bus on the way home says it
all: "Beth made me feel as if I was one of her family"
(!!) And everyone enjoyed your suggestion of spending time at Science
North before our bus took off. I look forward to the reunion in
November. May you be making lots of great memories for the rest
of the summer and fall. Sandy from Toronto
