CYCLING TRIPS
"Packed panniers on Manitoulin
Uncrowded routes, roadside shops and eclectic terrain make the world's
largest freshwater island one
of Ontario's top biking spots. Plus, you'll have the blazing fall
colours nearly to yourself"

2008 SCHEDULE
Wild Women Expeditions’ cycling trips just for women are fabulous fun and affordable! _In 2002, we first introduced cycling trips on Manitoulin Island and then in 2005 -with much lobbying on the part of members- we introduced mountain biking adventures as well! The road trips mostly explore civilized areas in the very quaint and scenic Manitoulin Island. We munch at restaurants, or enjoy a catered spread at our cottages. Our mountain biking clinic will be based out of WWE's Northern Ontario basecamp. We are also able to organize custom mountain biking trips from there. Whether by mountain bike or road tour we supply everything including the BIKE: 4 nights accommodation, 3 days cycling, all meals, gear shuttle, support van, a WWE guide, and transportation from WWE's base to cycling destinations and back. From first timers to real road hags and ditch pigs, you are going to be in fabulous fun company with a supportive atmosphere to take on new challenges! |
